Brendan Ko


A native New Yorker, Brendan Ko began studying music at 9 years old in the Crimson Kings Drum Corp. His experience and love for music ultimately led him to attending the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts founded by Tony Bennett. He would later become a recipient of the full scholarship “Music Access Project” at the Bloomingdale School of Music, where he was able to receive his first private lessons under the tutelage of Jeremy Noller and Eric Phinney when he turned sixteen. He now attends McGill university with scholarship as a percussion performance major studying under Aiyun Huang and Shawn Mativetsky.
